Katie's passion for events and yoga creates the perfect mix to design and deliver wellness retreats abroad and in the UK, covering every detail so you feel nourished and supported.
Her aim is to bring likeminded people together to practise yoga, connect with nature, enjoy incredible food – the ultimate self-care experience.
This journey began ten years ago in an ocean-view Sydney studio, where Katie turned to yoga for calm. From an anxious mind to a love of yoga and mindfulness, she has now delivered over 30 sold-out retreats, with hundreds of happy guests – many of whom are now close friends, forming a wonderful community.
Katie launched Katie J Yoga in 2020, rebranding to Zenaa in 2024 – the wholesome wellness retreats company you see today.
Your Questions Answered
You can book a retreat using the BOOK NOW button on each Retreat page. These will take you to our booking site, which is hosted by ThriveCart, where you will be able to complete the booking form, pay your deposit by card and secure your place on this very special retreat. Please note, if you see a 'JOIN WAITLIST' button the bookings are not yet open.
When Booking Your Place at a Retreat You Will Have 2 Options:
1. Full Payment at time of booking
2. Split Payments x3 - this will allow you to pay for your Retreat place across 3 months
Absolutely! We love our solo travellers and welcome them with open arms. If you would like space to yourself, we have single occupancy rooms, or if you are a female guest most retreats offer the opportunity to book one bed in a shared twin room. Take a look at the room options to find a room perfect for you.
No! We welcome all abilities from complete newbies to those who practice regularly. We will take time during the first workshop to go through all the common yoga poses, learning/ re-capping alignment, where we should be feeling the stretch to ensure you are confident in your yoga practice. We also offer modifications as we go, to accommodate different ages, abilities and body types, to ensure every practice is perfect for you.
The morning workshops will be dynamic hatha yoga, with some flowing sequences to build strength and flexibility in the body. The evening classes will be yin or gentle yoga to wind down and relax before dinner.
It is the guest's responsibility to arrange transport to the venue. The full address will be provided once deposit payment has been made. If you are travelling abroad you must book your own flights. For Retreats outside of the UK, transfers are often available to book once your space on the Retreat has been confirmed, for an additional price. Parking is always available for our Retreats in the UK, or if you'd like to know the closest train station to the venue please just ask.
Our private chefs can cater for most dietary requirements, however if you have a severe intolerance or any allergies please check before booking, email info@zenaa.co.uk.

Deposits are non-refundable (£300 for overnight, full for day). Cancellations more than 5 months before the start date qualify for a refund of payments made (minus the deposit). No refunds are issued for cancellations less than 5 months before the start date.
Yes, it is a condition of booking that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to protect against financial loss due to cancellations or other emergencies.
